Hi all,
Going to go to Montreal soon, really like the city, partly because it's French there. I'm in the habit of planning my budget wherever possible, that's where I do it. I pay a lot of attention to transport when travelling, I like to calculate everything in advance. Can anyone give me some pointers on what's not too expensive for car hire, renting accommodation, etc.? I would be very grateful.

Hi, I am very often in Montreal visiting friends of mine. So regarding accommodation I can only advise www.booking.com/, you can choose for all tastes there. As for the car, there is a very good international airport transfer service from Montreal , I use it a lot, maybe it would work for you too. I like it so much that I can calculate online how much I'll pay and then decide if I want to go or not. It's especially good if I'm going somewhere a long distance because the price is fixed and it might even be cheaper than taking a taxi (with today's gasoline prices)
